Maintenance
SECMAIR-BREINING recommends a certain number of preventive actions to keep your equipment in good condition.

A summary table of standard maintenance frequencies is available for download.
We recommend the following main maintenance items to keep your equipment in good condition:

‐ Bar maintenance
‐ Valve block maintenance
‐ Burner maintenance
‐ Changing the binder circuit seals
‐ Fluid changes (hydraulic oil, thermal, etc.)
‐ Test benches

TEST BENCH
1- Sprayer/RGS benches

▶ Objectives:

- Average dose measurement
- Transverse spread measurement
- Resources: 3 approved installations
- Two static test benches and a mobile test bench
- Compliant with the NF P 98-726 standard

▶ Client advantages:

- Reduces the risk of a fault that blocks work
- Increases works quality
- Saves binder
- Use and maintenance reminders
TEST BENCH
2- Accuracy checks approved for cold-mix asphalt machines

▶ Objectives:

Instant chip and emulsion flow measurement

▶ Resource:

A mobile installation “compliant” with the ZTV BEA-StB 09 and TLG Asphalt-DSK-StB 98/03 standards

▶ Client advantages:

- Reduces the risk of a fault that blocks work
- Increases works quality
- Saves binder
- Use and maintenance reminders
REGULAR GENERAL INSPECTIONS (RGI)
▶ Principle:

- Standardisation of practises in terms of safety
- Spreader machines: E5 category
- 45-item check


▶ Recommended inspection frequency: 12 months

▶ Report to be kept for 5 years

▶ Objectifs:

- Extend your equipment’s service life
- Maintain its performance levels
- Improve its performances (accuracy, energy, …)
